The Rays of Light series holds a special place in my heart. For Black people, and other marginalized communities around the world, there’s a deep, indescribable pain woven into our everyday experiences. Though we still have much work to do for true equality, there’s also a bright, beautiful hope that shines through and keeps us pushing forward. In a way, this series may symbolize the resilience of those who have been oppressed.
